Prink Placement scale denotes fastidiousness – the care shown in structure or details.
Every day of our life we are bombarded with information. We’re coming through the “Information Revolution” right now, and thanks to the Internet we can find out the most intimate details on just about everyone and everything. So with all this information and data coming at us, how do we handle it?
The Sisters’ Grid is divided vertically to reflect Prink Placement. Depending on how you answered questions on the Sisters’ Quiz, you either Prink High or Prink Low, because Prinking divides the Sisters’ Grid vertically. Your score from the Sisters’ Quiz will place you Prink Up or Prink Down.
Prinking defines the way you interact with things; it reflects your influence on things outside of you and how you like to interact with those things.
Prinking Up
Upper Prinking Sisters have a seriously defined way of doing things. They have a routine. They have a pattern, and they come at things with that in mind. Life and activity needs to be a certain way. Things need to be “just so” and there can never be enough structure.
You could say I have a ‘Poker Face’ since I show few facial expressions. When I speak, the pitch of my voice stays constant. It takes a lot to pry my opinions out of me. Posture is important to me and I sit and stand erect. I speak with consistent volume and little variance. I’ll usually tell you what I think over what I feel. When I’m arguing, I use fact and logic. If you plan to meet me, tell me the specific date and time. Time is important to me so I get to the point and limit small talk and stories.
If the Upper Prinking Sister isn’t careful, she can be viewed as too rigid, stoic, or unyielding. (And she knows she shouldn’t be, of course.)
Crunks:
Facial Expressions; Few facial expressions/signals
Voice Pitch/Volume; constant pitch (monotone)/Consistent
Posture; erect/upright
Think vs. Feel; Think
Time/date/figures: specific
Prinking Down
Lower Prinking Sisters are a little bit less defined in their interactions with things. They tend to take a more haphazard approach to patterns and may even chafe if there is too much structure. But all structure is not bad, and the Lower Prinking Sister needs to remember that.
When I like it you’ll know it, since I have animated facial expressions. I’m making a point so my voice level varies. Don’t worry, I’ll freely tell you what I think. I know posture is important, but I tend to relax my body often. Sometimes I’m loud and sometimes I’m not. I tend to refer more to feelings and senses. When I’m arguing, I use opinions and people. When we plan to meet, I’ll give you a general date and time. People call me a great storyteller, and I love to make small talk.
